I looked for this since I saw the ad on the train... so about a week. Anyway, I thought that it would taste like Milk Tea with Expresso with are the only 2 drinks I really love. Instead, it just tastes like milk tea >.<

Did they forget to put the expresso in it??

--- EDIT ---

I just added in some expresso from the coffee machine at work. MUCH BETTER. Get it right next time, Kirin!!!

I wore a mask all day for the first time today. I don't mind getting stangers on the train sick BUT I really didn't want my students to get sick...also I didn't want them to see all the mucus that was coming out of my nose...

1. Tasty Maple Kit-kat... there's 2 new flavors this month.. I think I will start a pic-collection of them ^^

2. I am sick again... for the 3rd time since I got here!!!! I am so angry, I cannot figure out why in Canada I never ever got sick, and here it's just one cold/flu after another. I student of mine suggested yesterday as I stared at her glassy-eyed from all the medication, that Japan's cold virus could be different than Canada's and I have no immune system built for it... Is this possible??? I'd want to believe it.

Today I have 10 lessons :( :( :( It's sooo hard to keep my eyes open, my nose just keeps dripping, and my head hurts like crazy >.<

I've missed school yesterday and today :( Which means I need to find magical time to catch up :(

3. It snowed 2 days ago! For a few hours, it was great and beautiful. It melted by the morning... and I cannot figure out why ALL the trains were late and not working properly... and I TAKE THE METRO!! UNDERGROUND!! I cannot understand it.

It snowed today!! It's rare for Tokyo, it only happens about once a year, so naturally I didn't want to miss it.

I had the flu that day and a slight fever, so around 6:30 I went to sleep.
Then my roommate went out for a smoke, thus woke me up, and it was snowing!!!

So we put on our jackets, I grabbed my camera and we went out on the rooftop!! I couldn't even see the Shinjuku Skyscrapers, there was so much snow that visibiliy was so low, and Tokyo snow is WET, so we were sliding all around the roof while throwing snowballs (^___^)~~~o

View of the laundry room:

View of the main street by my place:

My umbrella! And yes, you do have to use an umbrella when it snows, when Tokyo snow hits you, it feels like someone spit on you..

Fun stuff.

I just got home after a super long day (it 3:13 am).. I was up at 7 for school, then at work (from 1pm) I had lesson after lesson after lesson, no breaks until 9, then I ran to meet Shige at Nakano-Sakaue. Yesterday on our way home we found a place that had 800en Nomihoudai!!! But it was only for three days and today was the last day so we had to go. You can only order one drink at a time, so we ordered a "base" drink and then kept ordering shots, and pouring it into our base drink! So we totally looked like alcoholics LOL But we are both really good with our liquor so neither of us got drunk.. yet we managed to eat 3500en worth of food! haha

Shige, why do we talk so much?? How can we talk for hours each day in our strange mix of Japlish?? オカシよ絶対!

Afterschool, Sam and I went to eat some Japanese-style expensive ice cream in Ebisu! It was excellent!!! I had Sakura-Azuki, Karintou, and Pumpkin~~ Sakura-Azuki was the best and if they sold this in conbini's I:d be 400 pounds by the end of the year.

100118_1314%7E01.jpg

Then we walked to Bizarro-Shibuya from Ebisu. Meaning that we ended up on the other side of the station (not Hachikou exit) and thus had no idea where we were for about 30 minutes. LOL. BUT on the way, we found a BUNNY SHOP!!! Not a pet shop, just a bunny shop, they only sell bunnies and they were allllll sooooooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeeee I almost died. Thankfully, the store was closed and so I couldn't go in, otherwise I wouldn't make it to work (>.<)

My new fave motto, it's just so true.

Then we went to the Starbucks and ended up with prime seats overlooking the crossing.

I, of course, left my bag with all my schoolbooks, make-up and a bunch of other things there accidently (hey, it's my Shibuya tradition) and then went to 109 where I got a cute white soft sweater for only 2000en! That's a really really good find in 109.

Then I went back to Starbucks to retrive my bag.. it's great that no one steals in this country.

Now I'm at work, I only have 3 lessons and then I get to go home early today (^_______^)
